At the Crystal Mountain
office complex in Southwest Austin two men (a father and son) fell off of a scaffolding from a height of 25 feet. They were airlifted to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The father, in his 50s, and his son about 20, were drilling anchors into the wall when their ladders slipped. “They were hanging awning on the side of the building. They were on two ladders leaning against the building,”
The two ladders were placed on a temporary scaffolding while construction was being done on the complex.
